“Renee was all of us” asks people to consider how easily any of us could be in her position. Driving past a raid, stopping to watch, checking on a neighbor — everyday civilian behavior that shouldn’t carry a death sentence. Renee wasn’t disposable, and neither are the immigrants, migrants, refugees, and community members who have been harmed or killed during enforcement actions. The state didn’t protect her, and it won’t protect us either.
